Building the habit of showing up imperfectly

Hey friend,

Are you struggling with showing up for yourself?

Let’s get clear on your expectations.

If you're getting back into movement...

  • for the first time ever

  • after a long time or period away (& you’re hella nervous!)

  • or you’re experiencing (or have experienced) high stress

Aiming for a 100kg hip thrust or a bench press PB is IRRELEVANT!

Here’s why:

  • We don’t start reading and then start swallowing down entire encyclopedias in the first month of kindy

  • We don’t start a new job and then replace our boss in the first 3 months

  • We don’t start cooking and then take over as head chef of a 3 hat restaurant

Movement is learning.

And learning is about

1. Being a beginner

2. Understanding it's a skill that takes practice!

We tell ALL our newbies that for the first 90-100 days - don't set any huge goals. Instead:

  • aim to SHOW UP imperfectly

  • BUILD the habit of moving

  • WRESTLE with how it can fit in around your already busy life

  • Find your fav ways to move!

I promise you, this will take the stress off and you'll end up surprising yourself with:

  • increased strength

  • lifting heavier

  • feeling more energized and connected to your body!

You’ve got this!
