The Movement Rainbow 🌈

The fitness industry sometimes likes to over-complicate things.

 

If you're feeling overwhelmed about where to start or how to progress with strength training, just think: 'rainbow'

 

We like to think of the main movement patterns - push, pull, hinge/bridge, squat, lunge/split stance, rotate and carry - as colours on the - as long as you get all the colours in your workouts you will be covered!

Each colour (movement pattern) has a bunch of different shades (options) - you can progress + challenge yourself by choosing a darker shade!

But there is no obligation to get to the darkest/brightest variation of each colour start where you feel safe and build intensity, load and range of motion over time!
